Returns, Exchanges & Order Cancellations

We want you to feel confident when choosing artwork for your home. Each North Beach Studio piece is produced with care, with artworks made to order in your selected size and finish.

Because our artworks are made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. We encourage customers to carefully review sizing, framing selections and artwork details prior to purchasing.

If you are unsure about a piece, size or finish, our team is always happy to assist with artwork selection, sizing and placement advice before you place your order.

If you believe your situation requires review, you are welcome to contact us and our team may assess requests at our discretion.

CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

Please choose carefully before placing your order.

As all North Beach Studio artworks are made to order, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including where:

You have selected the incorrect size
You have changed your mind on the artwork
The artwork does not suit your space as expected
Colours appear slightly different in person compared to your screen or device
Your order has already moved into production
The artwork has been custom made, framed or produced in a custom size

We understand purchasing artwork online is a considered decision, which is why we’re always happy to assist prior to ordering.

CAN I REQUEST A RETURN?

While we do not accept change-of-mind returns due to the custom nature of our pieces, you are welcome to contact us at hello@northbeachstudio.com.au if you have a unique circumstance and would like your order reviewed

Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your order.

To help us assess your request, please include:

Your full name
Order number
Delivery address
Date your order was received
The artwork name and size
The reason for your return request
Clear photos of the artwork
Clear photos of the packaging
Any additional information relevant to your request

Please do not send any artwork back without first contacting hello@northbeachstudio.com.au and receiving return instructions.

If a return request is approved, the artwork must be returned in original condition, unused and safely packaged.

Approved change of mind returns will be issued as a store credit only, less a 20% restocking fee and any applicable return shipping costs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Due to the size, fragility and made-to-order nature of our artworks, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

We take great care when producing and packaging each order. If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact hello@northbeachstudio.com.au within 5 business days of delivery.

To help us assess the issue and arrange the best resolution as quickly as possible, please include clear photos of:

The artwork
The damaged or faulty area
The external packaging
The internal packaging
The shipping label

Depending on the issue, we may arrange a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Please retain all original packaging until the matter has been resolved where possible.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If your item has a major problem, you may choose a replacement or refund. If the problem is minor, we may repair, replace or refund the item within a reasonable time.

This policy applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your order, please contact hello@northbeachstudio.com.au as soon as possible.

Orders can generally only be cancelled before production has commenced.

As many North Beach Studio pieces are made to order, production may begin shortly after your order is placed. If production has already started, we may not be able to cancel the order.

Where cancellation is approved after production has commenced, a cancellation fee may apply to cover materials, labour and administration costs already incurred.

RESPONSE TIME

Once we receive your enquiry, we aim to respond within 2–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays).

If a return, replacement, repair or store credit is approved, we will provide the next steps by email.
